CLASSES for age 9-17
CATHERINE CARTER ART SCHOOL offers ongoing sessions consisting of three 1-1/2 hour class meetings, available in a choice of three time slots - Wednesday afternoons, Saturday mornings, or Saturday afternoons - from September through May.
During class, students select the project they want to work on from a wide range of subject options, as well as the drawing or painting materials they want to use. Throughout the creative process, I offer guidance, instruction and feedback.
Students may continue to work on their project throughout the session for as many classes as they need to comfortably complete it. If they finish the artwork before the end of the session, they can select and begin a new project.
My format of semi-private lessons, with a maximum of 8 seats per class, ensures that each student receives individualized attention and personal encouragement.
