MONTHLY WORKSHOPS FOR ADULT STUDENTS
Next Session: Sunday, January 11, 2026 - 2 to 4:30 PM
Join me once a month for a relaxing and inspiring art session designed for all skill levels, meeting in the welcoming and supportive environment of my sunny classroom in New Bedford.
Each month will feature a different subject and material, from still-life to landscape to portrait, using a variety of supplies from watercolor to pastel to charcoal. With this ongoing experience in multiple styles and materials, you will steadily build your artistic repertoire and discover your personal preferences.
Whether you're picking up a pencil for the first time or building on existing skills, each session offers step-by-step guidance, encouraging feedback, and helpful technical advice.
The series is designed to provide a creative outlet, a peaceful oasis for "me time," and a way to connect with other kind people who love art.
We meet on Sunday afternoons, so the workshops fit easily into busy schedules.
The next session is scheduled for January 11, when we'll be creating the Bird of Paradise painting shown below, using watercolor and colored pencils on paper, a lesson focused on layering wet and dry media.
Tuition is $75 per session, featuring 2-1/2 hours of guided instruction, and including all art materials. Light refreshments will be served.
You are most welcome to join me!
