VACATION workshops
Our VACATION WORKSHOPS are a great way to encourage your child's creativity during the weeks off from their school schedule!
We have 2 workshops scheduled during the February school vacation week:
WORKSHOP 1: FASHION DESIGN
For Ages 12 to 17
Tuesday, February 20 - 9 AM to 2 PM
Snow Date: Wednesday, February 21
For those who love fashion and drawing! Our projects will be inspired by clothing and accessory styles of the past, from 1920s flapper dresses and cloche hats, to 1950s poodle skirts and saddle shoes. Students will enjoy updating these period trends to their own contemporary expressions, using colored pencils and markers on heavy bristol paper. We will complete two finished drawings during the day.
Please send your child with a snack and a lunch.
Tuition is $130, including all art materials.
Limit of 8 students.
WORKSHOP 2: PET PORTRAITS
For Ages 9 to 14
Thursday, February 22 - 9 AM to 2 PM
Snow Date: Friday, February 23
For students who love animals! We will focus on shape, color and texture to illustrate a beloved pet or favorite animal, using drawing and painting materials. From the everyday - dog, cat or rabbit - to the exotic - parrot, snake or bearded dragon - any creature is a possible subject! Students are invited to bring in a photograph if they want to depict a particular pet, and a variety of animal photographs will be available in class for them to pick from.
Please send your child with a snack and a lunch.
Tuition is $130, including all art materials.
