COMIC ART WORKSHOPS
Our first COMIC ART WORKSHOP ran on January 11, 2025. It was such a great experience that we are hoping to schedule more this year! Sign up for our newsletter on the Home Page to be notified of future comic art programming.
Especially for those who love comics and want to develop their skills. Students will learn to incorporate characters into an impactful narrative, design effective backgrounds, and lay out dramatic pages. We will use multiple types of markers to illustrate our ideas. This is a great opportunity for young artists to expand their creativity and tap into their unique skills as designers and storytellers.
There is a limit of 8 students.
Tuition is $129, with all art materials provided.
Please send your child with a nut-free lunch.
Students are welcome to bring in any of their personal sketchbooks.
Our guest teacher for this workshop is OLIVIA HARRIS. Originally from Carver, MA, Olivia has a degree from the Illustration BFA Program at UMass Dartmouth. She currently works as a staff assistant at the Grimshaw-Gudewicz Gallery at Bristol Community College in Fall River. Her art focuses on characters, although she also loves prop and clothing design. We are very excited to have her teaching for us!
