CLASSICAL DRAWING
SPRING 2022
This drawing class for adults (age 18+) teaches traditional techniques and subjects. Each week explores a different aspect of representational depiction, from landscape to portraiture to drapery, from line to shape to value, from graphite to charcoal to pen and ink.
Our sessions offer the rare opportunity to receive classical art training in a serious but encouraging environment. We provide clear instruction, detailed demonstration, and individualized attention. Students develop observational skills, practice centuries-old approaches and techniques, and learn alongside fellow art-lovers. No previous art education is necessary, although experienced artists will be challenged.
Conveniently scheduled on Saturday afternoons from 1 to 3 PM.
Students may drop in to any class without pre-registration.
Tuition is $40 per class, which includes all materials.
Tuition may be paid in advance or upon arrival, using credit or debit card (below), Venmo, or cash.
