Welcome to CATHERINE CARTER ART SCHOOL!
Our classroom is located at HATCH STREET STUDIOS, 88 Hatch Street, Studio 210, in New Bedford, MA.
Please click HERE for our current schedule.
We first opened our doors at Hatch Street Studios in 2018. We currently offer Saturday morning and summer art sessions for children ages 9 to 12 and teens ages 13 to 16. Students often take our classes for years and several, once they passed our age range, returned as classroom assistants.
Our welcoming classroom inspires young artists to explore traditional art techniques and discover their unique creative voices. We use graphite pencil, colored pencil, markers, watercolor paint, acrylic paint, and paper collage to depict a wide range of subjects including still-life, landscape, animals, and portraits.
Feel free to visit our PHOTOS page for a peek into our classroom, and the TESTIMONIALS page to hear directly from our students and their parents.
If you have questions, you are welcome to visit our FAQ PAGE or reach out by using the form on our CONTACT PAGE.
